• Water resistance in practice: Use only models with the appropriate marking for showering/swimming; after contact with salt water, rinse the watch with fresh water and dry it.
• Magnetic fields: Strong magnets can affect the accuracy of mechanical watches; keep away from strong speakers or magnetic holders.
• Smart functions: When worn in sensitive areas (e.g., during medical procedures), follow the manufacturer’s instructions; do not charge on the body or under a pillow.

Cleaning, Maintenance, and Storage

• Cleaning: Clean the case and strap with a soft cloth; do not soak leather, rinse and dry metal; avoid aggressive cleaners and acetone.
• Service: Entrust battery and seal replacement to professional service; perform a pressure test if water resistance is reduced.
• Storage: Store dry, away from direct sunlight and magnetic sources; store smart watches long-term with a charge of approximately 40–60%.

Specific Health Warnings

• Allergies and sensitive skin: Some metals (e.g., nickel), surface treatments, and silicones may cause reactions; if redness or itching occurs, remove the watch and clean the skin.
• Skin hygiene: After sweating, ventilate and clean the skin under the watch; prolonged moisture may cause irritation.

Disposal

• Ecological disposal: Do not dispose of electronic parts, accumulators, and batteries in household waste; hand them over to an electronic waste collection point. Sort metal/plastic according to local regulations.
